It’s me, Anita.
I’m glad you’ve found my blog.
I’ve spent the better part of the last couple of decades trying to shape stories that matter.
By day, I serve as Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Operations at Opportunity International Canada—telling the stories of courageous women entrepreneurs working their way out of poverty. I’ve sat with mothers in barrios, listened to their hope in the midst of hardship, and told their stories so others would see them too. This work reminds me daily that words can build bridges and open doors that lead to transformed lives.
Yet alongside that, I’m Anita the wife, mom, daughter, and sister—living messy days, still learning, still growing.
This blog is for me, because I process through communicating. But, it’s also for the the dreamers, the restarters, the ones holding a phone full of unsent texts, the ones leaning into next chapters with both hands open. I’m here to say:
- You’re not defined by your titles or your job.
- You’re more than what you do for others.
- It’s more than okay if you are still on a journey to figuring it all out.
I’m still growing, still writing, still finding new ways to begin.
And I’m truly glad you’re here.
